Ed Lozano is a professional musician, guitar curriculum specialist, consultant, instructor, and clinician. He is also a published author, technical writer, editor, and producer of commercial music instruction materials. Finally, Ed is a motorcycling enthusiast, mixed martial arts and boxing fan—he frequently contributes to Examiner as the New York Boxing Fitness reporter and, not so long ago, was an amateur boxer and a blue belt in karate.

Ed is the author of the popular Easy Blues Series for AMSCO Publications and creator of the innovative Guitar Deck Series also for AMSCO Publications. He served as consultant and creative director for Home Shopping Network favorite, Esteban, and his latest release, Esteban’s Complete Guitar Course: Chords. In addition, Ed was instrumental in overseeing the design of over 2500 lessons for WorkshopLive, a commercial online lesson site. He has also worked with ACDC, Stone Temple Pilots, Evan Dando, Tori Amos, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Tom Waits and many others.
