Big Band Hendrix is an hour-long journey that highlights a small sample of the extensive repertoire and legacy of the legendary guitarist, Jimi Hendrix. With special arrangements for Big Band that were originally released in Germany by the WDR Big Band music director and arranger, Bernd Lechtenfeld that featured guitar virtuoso, Hiram Bullock. This is a unique and one-of-a-kind experience in which The Big Bones joins with the Aburrá Big Band. Not only is the music of the Jimi Hendrix performed, but this presentation also pays homage to the genius and one of the most influential guitarists of all times.

Big Band Hendrix es un recorrido de mas de una hora por el amplio repertorio y legado del mítico Jimi Hendrix, con arreglos especiales para Big Band y que originalmente fue estrenado en Alemania por la WDR Big Band con el virtuoso Hiram Bullock y los arreglos de Bernd Lechtenfeld. Este es un espectáculo único e irrepetible, en el que The Big Bones se une con la Aburrá Big Band, no solo se interpreta la música del gran Jimi Hendrix, sino que sirve como un homenaje a la genialidad de la misma y unos de los guitarristas representativos e influyentes de todos los tiempos.

The Big Band Hendrix will not only reintroduce the different classics of the great guitar genius; such as "Foxy Lady", "Voodoo Chile"," Little Wing"and" Wind Cries Mary ", among others, but it will also be a commemoration to the time of Miles Davis and his "Bitches Brew".

La Big Band Hendrix, revivirá no sólo los distintos clásicos del gran genio guitarrista como “Foxy Lady”, Voodoo Chile”, “Little Wing” y “Wind Cries Mary”, entre otras, sino que será además una remembranza a la época de Miles Davis y su “Bitches Brew”.
